Thunder and Lightening! It’s Harmony Evans

One rainy Saturday during the Ohioana Book Festival, Harmony Evans sat down with Kayla, the Craft summer intern, and was interrupted mid-interview by a low rumble that shook the entire room. This romance author responded, “Hey, I try to make things exciting. What can I say?”

Evans keeps summer heat going with her romance novels, Loving Laney and When Morning Comes. Through her publishing company, Harlequin Kimani Romance, Evans has produced multiple novels including a series about the fictional celebrity Broward family. She was a double finalist in the 2012 Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice Awards and received Debut Author of the Year for the 2013 Romance Slam Jam Emma Awards. Evans is a member of Romance Writers of America and has a blog called, The Pink Heart Society. Evans writes at night and works in Internet marketing during the day. In the future, she wants to make her living in Paris, France, but for now, Evans is raising her 13-year-old daughter in Cleveland, Ohio. When this author is not cooking up spicy love plots, she is cooking and baking in the kitchen and enjoying other relaxing hobbies such as knitting, reading, and dancing.
